Michael Jackson Special Remixes - Human Nature (The Beatmeister Remix)

This track from the biggest selling album in music history, "Thriller," is my ultimate fave Michael Jackson tune of all time. I've tried to give a dancehall touch to it by incorporating some reggaeton beats.

Human Nature" was incidentally written by Steve Porcaro of Toto and John Bettis for Michael Jackson's Thriller album. Initially, Porcaro recorded a rough demo of the song on a cassette. Fellow Toto band member David Paich then gave the demo, along with two songs written by Paich, to producer Quincy Jones, hoping they would be included on Thriller.

Jones didn't like Paich's songs, but enjoyed the rough demo of "Human Nature" at the end of the cassette. Jones explained, "All of a sudden, at the end, there was all this silence, there was: 'why, why, dah dah da-dum dah dah, why, why'. Just a dummy lyric and a very skeletal thing—I get goosebumps talking about it. I said, 'This is where we wanna go, because it's got such a wonderful flavour'". The producer asked if the song could be included on Jackson's album, to which Porcaro and Bettis agreed."Human Nature" was the last song selected for Thriller, ousting "Carousel" from the final track listing. (quoted from wikipedia)

Here's the bonus music video from this cool, cool track:

Now here's the preview of the last of the two remixes, I've recently produced in memory of a music genius, The King Of Pop, Michael Jackson. Enjoy!

Michael Jackson Special Remixes - Stranger In Moscow (The Beatmeister Remix)

This is one of the more recent Jacko songs, which I really love, so I decided to do a dance remix of this tune from his HIStory album. It was the fifth and final single, and was released worldwide in November 1996 but was not released in the US until August 1997. The track was written by Jackson in 1993, at the height of the highly publicized child abuse accusations made against him, while on tour in Moscow. In the ballad, Jackson sings of a fall from grace that has left him lonely, isolated, paranoid and on the verge of insanity.

"When the song was complete, and happy with the result, Jackson therefore decided to make the second disc of HIStory a full studio album, rather than a greatest hits compilation with several new tracks. Upon release "Stranger in Moscow" was praised by critics, today it remains one of his most critically acclaimed pieces. Commercially the single saw mixed results by Jackson's standards, but the highly successful album had already been on the market nearly 18 months and numerous A-side, B-side and radio only singles had already been released to a positive commercial reception.

The song's music video depicts the lives of six individuals, including Jackson, who are left isolated and disconnected from the world around them. The imagery in the video has been replicated in television adverts." (excerpt from Wikipedia).

Here's the exceptional music video of Stranger In Moscow from The King Of Pop.

Now here's the dance remix of Stranger In Moscow, which I recently produced in memory of the late great MJ.

Right Here, Right Now - A Fatboy Slim Compilation Mix - A Mega Mix By THE BEATMEISTER

Been out of the blogosphere for sometime due to some unforeseen events and am just glad to be back once again with this simple tribute to one of my favorite DJs of all time.

Norman Quentin Cook (born Quentin Leo Cook, 16 July 1963), better known by his stage name Fatboy Slim is a British DJ, big beat artist, producer and pioneer of the electronic dance genre which achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s. Cook has achieved considerable success in the UK charts, performing as Fatboy Slim and with his previous 80s New Wave band, The Housemartins, The Housemartins, and also electronic and acid jazz artists, Beats International and Freak Power. He currently performs as the Brighton Port Authority, which is also the newest alias for this multifaceted performer.

Here's a simple straight-up megamix of almost all of his hits (remixed by the world's top DJs/remixers), which I did some three months back. Another must-hear for any Fatboy Slim or dance music fan.

The Vault In The Mix Presents: Damaged Goods - An 80s Slam Dance Mix Volume IV - A DJ Mix By THE BEATMEISTER

Attention New Wave Freaks!! It's back to slam dancing once again, and this is the fourth installment of my 80s Slam Dance Mix Series, which was also on broadcast via our weekly show, The Vault In The Mix, a few weeks back. It's a bit shorter than the first three previous Slam Dance mixes, but all of these tracks are still 100% guaranteed to rock that tired old lazy butt of yours.

So whatcha waitin' for, it's time to put on those old blah blah's, DMs, topsiders, trets, harutas, espadriles, dayfulls or any of those dancing retro shoes still preserved in your closet from back in the day, and prepare yourself for another slammin' and rockin' set. (Just be sure your boss isn't around if you plan to do it in the office, hehehehe)

Would also like to give another shout out to my buddy, The Boy Wonder, for more exclusives tracks from The Vault playlist. Big ups to you buddy and many thanks once more!! :D And always keep tuned in to The Vault On Live 365 for all the FRESHEST, the ORIGINAL, and UNIQUE mixes on net radio, all courtesy of your friendly neighborhood Vault DJs. **Accept No Imitations!!**

I suggest cranking your systems to full volume just to get the hang of it.. hehehe. Enjoy!!
