Chillout Weekend - A Journey Into Soulful Jazzy House

For today's workforce, the weekend means relaxation and what better way to unwind than to listen to some jazzy, chillout house music while enjoying a glass of martini with your significant other by your side. In line with this, today's upload is a mix of deep, soulful house tracks from familiar names such as Miguel Migs, Kaskade, Mark Farina, and Solu Music, compiled by yours truly to help your mind and body recharge after a long and stressful week.

I've also included remixes from Marques Wyatt, Andy Cato of the famed Groove Armada, and Talvin Singh. Though not included in today's lineup, one superb DJ in this league would be Ben Watt, who enjoyed a successful pop career as one-half of the UK duo, Everything But The Girl (please see remixes of EBTG from my good friend, Mixipod's blog), before reinventing himself as a skilled house DJ and remixer. Ben also launched his own Buzzin' Fly label and established himself as a global ambassador of deep, sophisticated and soulful house music.

Locally, M1 proprietor, Program Director of the now defunct radio program, "The Chillout Project," and DJ, Anton Ramos also released 3 mix compilations of chillout house music and this, in a way, also inspired me to do a mix compilation of my own.
