Things That Make You Go Hmmmm....

With the weekend fast approaching, here's another old school mix of early 90s dance tracks with a touch of some 80s strutt and breakdance stuff to put you in some sort of party mode, Retro Style. Picture this as somewhat of a sequel from my first post of Old School Funk Classics Mix.
Firing up the mix are some of Robert Clivilles and David Cole's (collectively known as C&C Music Factory) classic dance tracks including a remix of Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam's, "Let The Beat Hit 'Em." I've also included a superb remix of Herbie Hancock's classic, Rockit, by master turntablist, Mix Master Mike. Also, be ready for some early dance track favorites from the 80s like The J-Geils Band's "Flamethrower" (popularized by Darwin Tuason from Dance 10, circa 80s) and also Chaka Khan's classic, "I Feel For You," both remixed by yours truly. The video is also one of my favorites of all time, so let's enjoy it first before moving on... BTW, check out Ozone and Turbo's killer moves...

For the latter part, I've thrown in some Salt n Pepa, JJ Fad, Tone Loc, and slick tunes from So So Def Records in the mix. I remember these creepy bass tunes being played from lowered cars with boomboxes. Boy, those were the days...
Now for some earth shattering bass, here's today's tracklisting:
1) Gonna Make You Sweat - C&C Music Factory
2) Here We Go - C&C Music Factory
3) Things That Make You Go Hmmm - C&C Music Factory
4) Do You Wanna Get Funky - C&C Music Factory
5) Let The Beat Hit 'Em - Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam (Brand New Super Pumped Up Mix)
6) Rockit - Herbie Hancock (Mix Master Mike Remix)
7) Al Naafiysh - The Soul (Scratch Remix)
8) Feels Good - Tony Toni Tone (Mixx-It Remix)
9) Flamethrower - J. Geils Band (The Beatmeister Remix)
10) I Feel For You - Chaka Khan (The Beatmeister Remix)
11) Wild Thing - Tone Loc (Ultimix)
12) Planet Rock - Africa Bambaataa and The Soul Sonic Force (Instrumental)
13) The Beat Goes On - Orbit (Extended Mix)
